Joshua Desjardins is an up-and-coming writer with his first novel, “On Mondays We Play Bridge” officially available on Amazon and Apple Books. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Joshua graduated with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA.
In 2023, Joshua published his first children’s book, “The Tale of Two Princes,“ along with his illustrator and friend, Michael Hetrick of Hetrick Designs. Both hope to turn this beautiful story about love, tolerance and acceptance into a series that not only encourages today’s youth to be themselves, but they also hope to empathize with adults of all ages.
In New York, Desjardins has produced and starred in his own one-man show, “Nerds Among Us,” followed by a run of a successful two-man show, “Joshing Around,” alongside his Josh-cohort, Joshua Warr. After being hailed as “New York City’s favorite nerd,” Desjardins has recorded music available on Apple Music and Spotify, including his most popular song and music video for “I’m a Nerd.”
Desjardins has a strong passion for technology as he loves to help fellow actors and entrepreneurs with all their technical needs. Thus, he has created Affordable Acting to encompass all his technical services, including web design, video editing, graphic design, and even social media management.
